Most Sundays, the Mascot and I go to Starbucks in the late-afternoon to blog, read, or just hang out and people-watch. Once in a while, when my resistance is low, I give-in and let him order a piece of chocolate chip banana cake on the following conditions: a) he must share and b) he doesn`t ruin his dinner with it.
Today we each brought reading material with us, but I barely cracked my Bon Appetit magazine because the kid was entertaining me (and anyone within earshot) with excerpts from his new book "F in Exams".
