Ok, I could have taken a picture of anything that I ate, or planned to eat, today. But, since this frittata was beyond delicious, it gets the honour of being my challenge picture of the day.
So, what was in it that made it so good? Sautéed red chard, onion, crimini mushrooms, chèvre, walnuts*, and, of course, eggs. After it came out from under the broiler, I popped it onto a plate and finished it with a swirl of balsamic syrup. It was perfection.
*Yes, walnuts. Trust me.
